After over two years away, POLR are very happy to announce the beginning of a new monthly night at To The Moon in Old Market, Bristol. They’ll be an intimate atmosphere with some of the best local and national acts in contemporary and traditional music.
Anna Colette
Born in Bermuda, now settled in Bristol, Anna Colette’s music captures classic folk styles combined with a modern take. Her classic songwriting embraces her deeply introspective personality with a therapeutic writing approach; speaking to her life journey and navigating womanhood.
Fritillaries
Previously known as Rainy Day Woman, Fritillaries play sparse, unhurried music. They incorporate elements of the English folk tradition, Appalachian string band and Americana. Expect beautiful song writing and a performance showcasing their unique ability to draw you in to another world.
“Wow, such a tune. Proving Americana is alive and living in Bristol” - BBC Music Introducing in the South West
“a duo very much on the up and able to deliver as easily, live, as in the studio.” - Jeremy Searle, RnR Magazine
Hemzaczek Trapp
Soulful, upbeat tunes from east of the Berlin Wall, played on accordion and violin.
